Apparently I want to swap my old as **** Cherry G80-1000 switches from black to blue, but I can't seem to find a nice, cheap supplier (or a broken board with Cherry MX blue swtch).
Can anyone be kindly to share knowledge with me in regard of this matter?
P/S: Pardon me if my English sucks :(

Well, you missed the switch group buy... but WASDKeyboards (http://www.wasdkeyboards.com/index.php/products/keyboard-parts-1/cherry-mx-blue-keyswitch-mx1a-e1nn.html) is the next cheapest place I can think of... As low as $0.80 each if you snag 100+
Actually for blues I could be wrong... Mouser (http://www.mouser.com/Search/Refine.aspx?Keyword=cherry+mx) may be cheaper depending on the shipping costs.

Thanks alaricljs,
And just to make sure , the MX blue swtch in Mouser is the "Keylock Switches CLICK TACT PCB MNT " , isn't it?
-
MX1A-E1.. So yeah, that one unless you want to pay a whole lot more and get plate mount ;)
-
ha ha, no way :)) the G80-1000 swtches are PCB-mounted so I see no reason to get plate mount.
-
Well, unless you have some reason to suspect that the contacts are particularly worn you can save yourself the soldering work and pop the switches apart and swap the innards.

People sell and trade stems and springs all the time on here. Post a WTB for them in the classifieds and save some money. I had some other types for sale, but no blues.
-
$1 Singapore Dollars :) excluding shipping.
Let me know if you are keen.
All goods are brand new stocks :)

@alaricljs That is exactly what I'm intended to do @@

Oh hey, don't buy them yet... apparently 7bit is still accepting orders on switches here (http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?27809-MO-Cherry-MX-Switch-group-buy-(no-day-left)!!!) save ya ~$20 or so...
They're plate mount, but seeing as how they are cheaper and you know the drill it's no big deal.
edit: Woah, then there's all those other ideas people just threw in here.

True @@ I should give it a try with the stems and springs first.
