Folks,
I have enough parts on the way to build about 2.5 phantoms at the moment, and will probably end up building 3 complete units. However, ultimately, I will only be keeping two of them, and building up the others to sell. If you'd like one built to your specifications (assuming you're OK with housing it in swede's aluminum case), please let me know asap. Pricing and ETA are completely up in the air at this point. I would also prefer to deal with established gh members, who can follow through on a big money unknown schedule commitment like this.
Thanks buds.

Interested.

-
Damn already beat by 3 and not "established" but i'm also interested.
-
Also interested if it doesn't work out with the first 2 guys
-
I am also interested if for some reason the previous people fall through.

everyone interested was a member while the group buy was still open and we had members willing to do all the soldering for you for cheap...

Yeah... When I looked at the buy initially though, everything looked expensive. I didn't realize how cheap it all was until the buy was over. Except for the whole case thing. I don't know what I would have done there.

Perhaps! We will see.

well, regardless how you get it. hope you get one :)

mine are going to be expensive. i'm going to be doing metal finishing on a bunch of swede's cases, possibly my plates, and whatever other cool stuff i can think of. basically the benefit of getting in on this now is that i can build a balls out phantom to your specifications instead of mine. unfortunately, for me to use my free time to do that is going to take a much bigger commitment in money from you than if you were to source the parts and build your own.
anyway, everyone so far has backed out. please pm if you're still interested.
ps, keep in mind that a phantom with swede's case is like 350$ in parts alone. it's going to be more than that. if that scares you, the droids you're looking for aren't here.

that GB was mostly open over the holiday season, which made a $$$ keyboard a no go in the wifey approval department....at least for me :(

still, plate/teensy/pcb and stabilizers was well under $100 including shipping.
-
(bini clearly is unmarried without kid/s ;))
-
For the ultimate keyboard done the way I want, I don't mind paying whatever you want.
I don't expect you to give up your valuable time to do this for FREE, hence a proper work schedule and payment plan will need to be worked out. Just like building a house, a deposit, then part payment required until the keys are handed over at the final payment.
Let me know mkawa, if we can do business. Thanks.

really? ok wow. I really failed then at math when I looked at it back before christmas thinking it was going to be much much more :frusty:
-
you were probably adding the switches in before.
-
if no one has a particular keyboard they want built i'm just going to build up my extras however i want then offer them up when they're done. i'll leave this open though in case someone has something specific in mind.

yup, the switches were more than 50% of my bill lol but that's because i ordered around 170 of blue and green combined.

yah, biniaris is quite right in that barebones phantoms are pretty cheap to build if you have donor parts. the major contributors to the price here are (1) sourcing one's own switches (2) the swede's case (3) yet unknown paint costs.
