So I bought some Dylon "Machine Dye" today, and it was a total failure. I tried three sample caps, and they didn't take the dye, not even slightly. Here is the dye to avoid: http://www.dylon.co.uk/product.php?alias=fabric-dye-for-machine-use
The Dylon you need is of the "multi purpose" type: http://www.dylon.co.uk/product.php?alias=industrial-products&products=product-info&alias-product=multi-purpose-dye-500g
Although, I cannot seem to find it in smaller quantities than 500g, which @ £60+ is just too much. It seems there is no capsules of the old fashioned "DYLON" that was a simple round capsule; it's now purpose specific dyes, and the one I bought DOES NOT take to plastics well - this one - AVOID: http://www.wilkinsonplus.com/dylon-dye-fabric-ocean-blue-200g/invt/0173155/?htxt=J2%2BPmELz8WnMg8V6jGSNXZgdswrOjUorA73LzHXI9mfNhFf3bmG3T1o86wlo5ckBByJ2XIOCO%2Bxg%0AJYiVCRTD4A%3D%3D
Does anyone know of any sources for the older type capsules such as these, in the UK?

Any further information on DYLON which works, or specifics of the "Rit" brand dye that has successfully been used, and sources for UK buyers, greatly appreciated indeed.
