Title: Two shot Cream Cheese & Green - Graphite & Black - Blue/Red & Cream Cheese

Many people might be interested in ordering a Pure, Race, or TypeNow Solid keyboard.

[strike]Others might be interested in a two shot 87 key cap set for graphite & black(QUANTITY IS VERY LIMITED).[/strike] Out of stock

If you're interested in a blue/red/pink/graphite & cream cheese double shot 87 key cap set, then please write that in the form.
This way I can gather an interest check easier. If you're just interested, then write "Not Purchasing" on the Notes.

There are also Artisan mouse pads available in this form.

The Artisan mouse pads will be available in many Small, Medium, or Large.

Many varieties of color will be available such as Japan black, bright black, wine red, navy blue, sakura (pink), and snow white (or white snow to not get confused with the movie).

tl;dr- my preference isn't sharp contrast keysets, I'd like options that are half-tone - things that inspire the old beige and white or white and grey keysets. Something like White and Pink with a burgundy font, or cream cheese and faint green with a very dark green font. Etc.

By the way, I'd be doing tsangan's group buy for the Green/Cream set. Maybe it's best if you concentrate on the other colors, since that's due to start very soon.

I am going to assume these sets are also done by SP but I could be wrong.

If people want to take his cream & green its cool since I don't know his prices, and mine are close to Rag's pricing. I really do want to see my GB done not because I had it running first or anything and because I like the modifier layout more as well as the add-on sets.

But in the end if he offers all the colours he listed and they are at a decent price since he kinda has them on hand then people will buy, but if he got them made and wants to make a big profit then I'm not sure. Keep in mind that the font that is in the OP are custom fonts so if we want to make them via SP then we have to pay the $860 legend fee, while this way we pay a premium on the set he sells and we can get it.

It does have a center-stemmed capslock. I just got mine from sherryton two days ago.

There's a post on Deskthority that has some details about what that distributor expects. I know I'm after one with Red switches, Purple LEDs and an Aluminum case.

They are pretty thin, but I love the color so they are staying until I get my retro round 4 or the double shot green & cream cheese.

The Koreans make sure things get done right. We are very lucky to have an opportunity to pick up some sets with legends.

lol. they are doubleshot dude, meaning the legend are a different color plastic. hell, i'm pretty sure the legend pieces get molded first.

You can assume that, as with most group buys, pricing will be tiered and subject to change based on volume. that said, there's no way of knowing until the sampling is finished, interest is assessed/orders are placed, etc. Patience is the name of the game now :)

i like wyse and cherry equally :) cherry just had better-made keycaps (especially the fj dips).

the placements are weird but interesting. the font itself? i can't stand it. it looks... microsofty almost.

Post by: Larken on Thu, 23 August 2012, 23:37:29: The Blue set looks great, I'm probably down for one if the wallet permits. But that backspace bothers me a little - it is the only key to be aligned to the left, compared to the enter and right shift key. Does it look wrong, or is it just me?

Other than that, its nice that there is differentiation between the left and right windows keys, but the lack of differentiation for the right Ctrl Alt keys is another inconsistency.

Home and Printscreen cluster keys are the only ones that are top aligned.

I'm nitpicking, I know - I'll probably get one anyway even if nothing is changed. Although with the alignments slightly out of whack imo, I'll rather take blanks with the same color scheme if they're available. Though I must say that the Enter and Arrow keys are sweeeeeeet.

I completely agree. What does it take for someone to initiate this? Sorry if I sound woefully ignorant on these matters but if this is manufactured in China do we need someone who speaks Chinese? I wish I had gotten this keyboard obsession when I lived in SEA because it would have been so much easier to get these kinds of things done on the other side of the pond. What's funny is that even in Cambodia, if someone were to have stolen my keyboard, they wouldn't have known how much it was worth because no one there would have known either. It probably would have been sold for around $20, a Filco deck with nice key caps like the Cream Cheese and Green and a Click Clack keycap.

You would be able to test different type of keyboards as well: Filco, Leopold (200R/300R/700R), Ducky, Realforce 87U 45g, HHKB, HHKB Type S (My personal keyboard, so I am not sure), TypeNow, Poker, Race, Pure, etc.

You can also purchase items from CCn--- to some keyboards. Let me know what you guys think. Otherwise, we can arrange some schedule so we can have a mini gathering in LA. I don't mind that as well.

Just went to see how much postage for an $88 defective keyboard.. $50 and 10 - 14 day delivery. I wanted the new creeper cap, but it's $8 delivery on a $3 item :(

Yeah I was thinking more on the line of buying in bulk or group buys. xD Doesn't really work in any other situation.

This leads to something that makes sense.

When you get the sets, how likely would it be to do a group buy of sorts? Either that or set one up so that you can order some in excess beforehand, and then see if anyone would be willing to proxy to within their countries, such as Australia and Canada for instance?

I can only imagine filling out lots of customs forms must be a drag, and this would also lead to garnering lots of interest from those on the forums as the CCnG and Red Alert have.

Just a thought.

I prefer wider fonts on my keycaps (like WYSE) and certainly like either centered or top left for alignment. I hope the sets aren't identical to the older ones in that regard, otherwise still looking forward to the availability of these sets!

Since Red Alert was my first custom keycap experience, I thought it was the norm.
I did some looking and both CCnG and the Valentine keysets have non-colored "| \" and tilde keys, so that's just fine by me!

I have filled out a pre-order form and I am super excited to get my hands on CCnB. Thanks so much!

That manufacturer's keycaps (I'm not sure if they were double shotted key caps) weren't, but it took us awhile because we were doing many samples to make sure if they would improve. So we decided to take on SP afterwards, and after a few chats for a 104 set + 6 extra keys (for winkeyless boards), the price was pretty good. It's still quite expensive. Think of near the $50,000+...

I'll try to do International. I might have distributors, so it will be cheaper for others depending where they live. I will probably have someone in Korea who will distribute for me. It would be nice if someone trustworthy in Europe did a group buy.
