Title: help me decide plu 87 vs keycool 87
Post by: kelvinblade on Fri, 23 March 2012, 04:08:26
hi i know a cm storm is better but i live in asia and i can get the plu 87 / keycool 87 for half the price shipped.
i'll be doing some light gaming and i want to change the keycaps. i read in one of the reviews that the keycool
is similar to a leopold and has the incompatible keys(space bar etc) making it hard to annoying to change keycaps?
is that true? other than that, which one has a better quality? thanks!

Mind tell which part of ASIA? In my country, the total price of importing a Red switch Ketcool is around 70USD. Meanwhile, my local retailer carry CM Storm Blue/Brown/Black switch at around 74USD.
Yup, Keycool's spacebar is following the one on Leopold FC500R. Though if you are getting the keyboard itself from taobao, you can probably grab few Keycool compatible spacebar together for future use/swap.
According to those China keyboard forums, Keycool is a better choice than PLU.

Search around forums of waishehome and pcwaishe. Your question often pop out there too and the answer is always keycool...
