I have an IBM Optical Scrollpoint Pro mouse. On Windows XP 32-bit I installed the driver mentioned in http://geekhack.org/showwiki.php?title=IBM+ScrollPoint+Reference which lets the scrollpoint work for left and right as well as up and down. That same driver claims it should work on Windows XP x64 Edition, but it doesn't - I don't see all the fancy Lenovo stuff under the Mouse section of control panel. (The driver is called q1mie14us17.exe from Lenovo's site.)
Is anyone using Scrollpoint mice successfully on 64-bit Windows? (whether XP, Vista, 7, or 8)

FWIW, Windows 7 64-bit doesn't by default recognize left and right movement on the scrollpoint either. Is that wiki page 'IBM ScrollPoint reference' available anywhere?
