As a touch typist and a gamer, I was always intrigued with the benefits of what mechanical keyboards offered over rubber dome and scissor-switch-based keyboards. After spending the last few weeks researching and figuring out what I really wanted, I purchased my first mechanical keyboard, an IDFactory M.stone Groove87 with Cherry MX Brown Switches, exactly six days ago.
Today, I found myself walking out of the Yongsan Electronics Market with a Filco MJ2 Ninja with Cherry MX Black switches, two IDFactory M.stone TKL wrist rests, and an itch to buy the Poker X with engraved PBT Caps on Blues...
Is this normal?
BTW... hi all, I'm new...
-
Sadly perfectly normal around here, if I had enough money i'd have bought atleast 2 more keyboards!

As above, the symptoms above are especially normal, and it get worsen perpendicularly to the time you spent on GeekHack.
BTW, how do you manage to get a KOREA only board? You from Korea? Also, do update with us with a review on the board if possible. Especially if there is rubber coating on the keyboard case.

@Stingrae
Both the boards on your sig are actually in my sights...
@Human
Since, I'm pretty much in heaven with both boards, I'd love to type up a review of the Groove87 board for the forum. I got most of the information during my research from here, so I've already spend a chunk of my time looking at some amazing write-ups and photos in GH. It probably explains why I ended up with two TKL boards in less than one week.
As for the "Korea question", I'm nothing more than just an American expat working here.

Erick if I were you. I would sell Korean only keyboards and keyboard items through geekhack to people like myself. Charge price + shipping + a little something for yourself and bam there ya go. Buy yourself all the other keyboards you want!

LOL. It's something to consider since I seem to recall seeing a post about the m.stone wrist rests... I'm not so sure there would be a market for the boards since there seems to be almost always a 'local' equivalent.

Unfortunately, there really is no treatment for this particular addiction.
-
Groove87 seems to be just a logo free CMStorm? Plenty of market for that.
Welcome to the empty wallet club.

Hoping to win an auction on either new or barelly used White logo Model M and have the retro style keycaps replaced with black blank keycaps from Unicomp + Detachable black USB cable which should match the black keycaps
But if I dont win the White logo I'm anyways buying this baby http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?27330-Unicomp-Wildcat-Keyboard-Unboxing&highlight=Kentucky+Wildcats
