Is lan123 the anonymous buyer from oversea? Just kidding.
I was about to offer $185 for shipped to Canada but my girlfriend asked what's so spacial about it and I can't tell. Even I can tell she would not understand.

Ah darn. I was hoping this would sell itself.
IBM Type M keyboards are probably the most durable and long-lasting of all keyboards. They take mistreatment and keep on working in the worst conditions. They also can be repaired fairly easily in the rare instance when they do fail. I've done the bolt mod a few times (not on this particular board), and it's a breeze.
The SSK, or space saving keyboard, is valued for its Type M roots combined with a small footprint, allowing a right-handed mouse to be closer to the home row hand position (closer than on a regular Type M). They command higher prices than the regular M because of the desirability of the smaller size combined with scarcity.
[insert supply/demand curve here]

If it was even remotely possible for me to drop 175 on a keyboard right now this thing would have sold its self in an instant. so, if you want to pay me 175 dollars then I would buy it for sure.

I didn't think these would cost so much.. this guy had like 2 on sale at a garage sale for $5 each but I passed because they were too loud.

If none of your fellow Americans don't want it, I can Paypal you instantly. ONLY trouble, I'm not a US citizen.
So there's the dilemma.........

After seeing this thread I lurked on taobao for a while and bought 2 of these. Now the problem is how to import them into Canada. 6 pounds each according to the seller.
I know model m is good and I have a regular one as my office daily driver. Though I should try out a mini as well.
