BossBorot, very nice! What keyboards did you butcher to make this tester?
Is this based on a functional Topre numpad, or is it just some Topre switches in a case? If it's functional, I'd like to try it.
It's not functional (http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?29234-The-Topre-Thread&p=559586&viewfull=1#post559586).
I'll pass, then, thanks.

With 7 posts, I'd say welcome to GH, but then I see you joined back in June 2008.
And looks like your keyboard just broke. You need a new keyboard. :-)

May I recommend that an email is sent to the sender of the Topre Teaser from the receiver when it arrives?Yes I did and thank you for the pin. It's pretty cool.
And Nath did you find the present in the package?
Yes I did and thank you for the pin. It's pretty cool.
Also I am waiting on Lmnr to message me back with his first and last name so I can ship it out to him. Sorry about the hold up.
can anyone send me a pm of the info on the next person?
PM sent. nolliepoper, you're up!
Here's the Topre Tester hanging out with a new Filco Ninja TKL (mx reds).Show Image(http://i48.tinypic.com/eb9f2d.jpg)
My impressions of Topres...Holy hell they are some heavy switches. Every single switch felt heavier than a cherry mx red switch, this is even true for the 30g topre switch. 55g topres were my favorite though it felt almost sluggish. Maybe the bounce back of the switch after actuation is slower than a cherry switch? Topres are suprisingly mushy, very analgous to rubber domes. Cherry switches are still my favorite switch.
The Tester has been mailed off to the Number J.
Off topic, but what's your daily driver hashbaz? Your collection is quite diverse.
The three I use the most are the red Leopold, the blue Rosewill, and the Realforce.
I just got a 45g 87U, and I expect it will largely replace my variable 86U.
Do you prefer the reds to the blues?
Any news on the whereabouts of the tester? I haven't gotten anything in the mail yet.
Sheesh, it's still en route to NumberJ. 0311 2550 0000 5816 9824 (https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction?qtc_tLabels1=03112550000058169824)
Welcome to the West Palm Beach post office. Do you like how they had to process it 3 times before they shipped it off to the next post office?

Hey, it's out for delivery now!

For some reason the tracking number I got from USPS doesn't seem to be working. I'll check up on that later. Either way, I sent the tester off to f4d3 yesterday.
I think someone must have put a USPS curse on the topre tester.
