Title: CherryMX Brown Keyboard (~$110)
Post by: marvin737 on Mon, 02 April 2012, 14:40:16: As the title states, I'm looking for a cherry mx brown keyboard (with numpad) for no more than $110. Friend is looking to get into mechanical keyboards and he is entertaining the idea of buying something used from here. Thanks for looking!

Custom board? Why so?

O.P. for that price range you should check out http://elitekeyboards.com/products.php?sub=leopold leopolds or for a bit more get a custom one at WASDKeyboards but you would have to wait for them to get browns back in stock.

Edit - Also, the leopolds are ~121 with shipping which is a bit out of his price range.

Otherwise you either wait quite a while on the classifieds since I haven't seen 104 browns come up much... or you can look for something on ebay like a MX11800 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Compaq-Trackball-Keyboard-MX-11800-FREE-SHIPPING-/280846938368?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4163c83100) NOTE - I have no idea if that one is browns but I was under the impression they all are.
