Look what I found. Its a kind of text messaging system that you hook your phone up to. It was apparently designed for deaf people.

Sweet. I thought it was Cherry but could never get the seller to confirm it. Just pulled the trigger on one too, I really dig the number row.

LOL... don't know about OP, but will only be cannibalized by me. $25 is not too bad for some interesting doubleshots though. Would be nice if can used the vfd somehow, vintage blacks are good.

Not having matching mods + punctuation would drive me nuts. What are the key profiles like?

Cool...at that price, it should be built like a tank.

I almost picked up some very odd industrial keyboard thing too. It was a big steel case and had low profile keycaps and a throttle looking thing. It had weird rectangle switches where the spring was horizontal to the pcb and I could see two(maybe one) gold colored stabilizers(?) but it was $12 and I had already blown a lot of money over the weekend. The keycap stem connections popped into holes on the switch housing like space invaders(it was a similar 3 hole stem setup too). When I pressed the keycap the lower half would go down and the upper half would go up slightly like a teeter-totter.

I have an old TTY machine with cherry blacks too. It's AT&T branded and looks almost identical to yours/
