Since getting a new desktop computer at work my laptop has become surplus to requirements. I've been trying to sell it for a while now, but it has become apparent that people aren't willing to pay sensible amounts for secondhand laptops unless they have an Apple logo on the back, so I'm resorting to silly money in an attempt to get it sold. I've got all sorts of nonesense on Gumtree (people offering trades for old 1024x768 projectors barely worth £100, people asking me to post it to Nigeria...) so I thought I would offer it on a more respectable forum :)
Dell Vostro 3300 (Small & Medium Business range)
Core i5 450M (2.4GHz, 2 cores, 4 threads)
4GB RAM
Intel HD + nVidia 310M graphics
320GB hard disk (7200rpm)
13.3" 1366x768 anti-glare screen (none of this glossy nonesense!)
DVD+/-RW
Warranty until 31/08/2013 (so nearly 18 months left) and because it's from the Business range it's a next-day on-site warranty where they send a technician to you if anything breaks. There is a form on Dell's website to easily transfer the ownership of the laptop/warranty to a new owner.
Brand new backlit keyboard, fan was cleaned at the same time. A few light scuffs around the screen where it sits against the rubber pads on the base when closed, but otherwise mint condition.
Comes with all original packaging, accessories, CDs, etc. plus a Crumpler laptop sleeve. Hard disk has been wiped but the Windows 7 install CD is included, along with the (unused!) license sticker in the battery compartment.
I'm asking £300 delivered within the UK. For comparison the same model bought from Dell's factory outlet with 3 years warranty is £450 delivered (source - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DELL-VOSTRO-3300-INTEL-CORE-i5-450M-4GB-320GB-13-3-WEBCAM-NVIDIA-3-YEAR-WARRNTY-/360441904322?pt=UK_Computing_Laptops_EH&hash=item53ec02fcc2#ht_4826wt_939)

I agree! Those people are willing to pay way more than it's worth for some underpowered Apple product. Sigh.
GLWS! I would consider this but I also have a desktop computer and my own laptop is just collecting dust in the corner.

I could try and rig up a relative to replace his aging AMD laptop... but he may not want to spend on a new PC atm cuz of exams. Worth a try

I would want this, but I have no money.

Any leads would be appreciated, I really want to shift it before it depreciates even more sat on my shelf!
