Title: What do you use foot pedals for? (not gaming)

What use do foot pedals have, other than gaming? I know the answer could be "anything you want", but I'm curious what YOU use them for.

I use mine to send SHIFT.  My pinkies can't take the strain.  Though I recently started to use the spacebar in the down position to send SHIFT using AutoHotKey_L, so it hasn't seen much use lately.
