Title: Filco vs CM Quickfire
Post by: commandercup on Wed, 18 April 2012, 20:02:39
I've got a simple question: is there a reason that keypresses on my Quickfire feel so much heavier than on my Filco TKL (MJ2)? Both have blue switches and I've noticed that the keypresses on my friend's Rosewill are similarly heavy. The keycaps make a tiny difference (swapped my doubleshots onto both), but the blues on my Quickfire are noticeably harder to push.

Am I making this up in my head to justify the added price of the Filco? Is there a way to break in these switches to make them feel more like the Filco's?

Blues require some breaking in, and it can take quite a while depending on how much often you use the keyboard.

He's PROBABABABLY making it up in your head...

The only way to be certain is Rip-o-meter the keys.
