Title: Sennheiser HD 555
Post by: NguyenAdam on Mon, 23 April 2012, 21:43:00
$65 shipped to the U.S.

Selling my lightly used pair of 555s. I received this from another user on OCN. I was intending to use this alot for gaming, but it seems as though my gaming days are coming to a close. I'm looking for a more portable solution for music. Will come with the 1/4" to 3.5mm adapter.

Mod was done to these headphones to sound more like the HD 595.

Great price especially if both sides of the headphones don't have cracks by the sennheiser logo which you don't have on one side. These are great headphones and have great reviews, you can mod them to sound like 595s by simply removing a padded sticky foam on the other side of the grate? I think it's called. People snatch these up on OCN fast, so if you don't have luck here, OCN will take this for sure. GLWS

Edit: I feel bad for OP thinking all these responses are potential interests in his headphones....nope just random statements =O.

Not interested in any keycaps. I'm trying to acquire some funds, but thanks for the offer anyway.

If I had the money, I'd jump on these. I may be in touch in the future if they're still around. GLWS!

Open headphones are nice if you use then in a  quiet environment. The soundstage is much more open than a  closed back headphone.

I would buy then if I weren't buying a whole new PC within a month.

These are fantastic headphones. I've had a pair of my own for about a year now and I love them. GLWS

I've owned two pairs of these. Highly recommended if you like an open ear headphone.

The factory cable will eventually die, but it's easy to buy (from Sennheiser) or fabricate a replacement.

Good headphones at a great price.

Just to be clear, when you bumped the thread a couple hours earlier with the Pending post that didn't count as a daily bump? ;)
