Title: Does anyone have experience with Alps keys? Particularly in the DSI board?
Post by: Spartan on Sun, 06 May 2012, 23:52:29
I am looking for a decent price solution to my low vision problem. I have another thread running and I'm not going over why.

What I like to know, does anyone own or has experience with the Alps equipped low vision board?

This one....

Are the keys clicky or linear? Can they be quieted down if they are too noisy? Are they long lasting? Are there replacements if one of them fails?

The price is great, not much more then a run of the mill low vision membrane keyboard but it's false economy to pick up something that lasts no longer or simply has "mechanical" in front of it with no benefit of longevity and feel.

If you contact them ask they wtf is up with that Enter/Backspace/Pipe.  I sent a similar question to Adessa keyboard, but haven't gotten an answer back.
