Well these geekhack errors are interesting... It looks like my last thread (and user account) both disappeared today.

Anyway the point of this thread is to see how much interest would be around a group buy of Nyan Cat keys.

A few months ago this was offered (http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?23934-Ragnorock-s-NyanCaps-and-quot-Tri-Triangle-quot-Group-Buy-SHIPPED) but I have seen interest in the community to acquire these keys and as an avid YouTube guy I want to represent on my mech.

I have already reached out to the appropriate people and am waiting to hear back on a few bullet points.

I would be UNBELIEVABLY down. Nyancat is pretty much the only novelty caps I have ever REALLY wanted. Would love a white set, but willing to see what other colors there are!

It wouldn't be possible to do black. I assume that light colored keys can be done such as blue, pink, grey, etc but the colors of the nyan cat and rainbow trail would look more dull compared to if they were on white? Just comparing from the prototypes that Rag had before.

That is exactly why we didn't go with light blue keys. Yellow -> Green...

There are other tweaks that should be done too, like having the backspace left-aligned so there's no gap.

Due to the nature of dye sublimation, the colors that are sublimated take on a bit of the plastic color. This means that colors come out very clear and pleasant on white keys, but on any other color, such as light blue, which was prototyped in the original buy, the colors shift and the contrast is heavily impaired.
