What do you, the GeekHack royalty, use as your daily driver? What's your second or third favorite? I'm asking you (in no particular order) iMav, Keyboardlover, Ripster, Reaper, and all of the other GH elite with a thousand posts or more.
-
Unicomp Customi. . . oh, elites. NVM.
-
My most used keyboards are my Leopold with reds, Rosewill with blues, and 45g uniform Realforce. The rest are pretty neglected tbh.
-
I've never considered myself one of GH Elites but thanks for putting me up there. =P Right now my daily driver is the KMAC (you can find more info here (http://geekhack.org/showwiki.php?title=Island:29324)) and I'm alternating that with another board I got from Seoul called HHMX (http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?28673-A-bunch-of-new-stuff-custom-acrylic-board-amp-Milestone-TKL-wristrest), both with Cherry MX black btw.
-
demik is typing right now in a TypeNow
keyboardlover loves all his keyboards equally.

:fish:
-
tsangan's daily driver is the most interesting SSK in the world (SO JELLY)
-
Daily I use Filco brown at work and Compaq MX 11800 at home.
For fun from time to time, I use Choc mini blue/Choc mini red/IBM model M
-
I switch up regularly between my wasd w/ blues, ergo clear modded filco and realforce 87u 45g.
Currently typing on the wasd though. Pics of each keyboard are in my sig.
-
I use a Filco 87 w/ browns and Ducky PBT caps (printed). I was hoping to get this changed soon, but WASD's issues w/ PBT caps is delaying things :( I want to do a custom 87 key with his caps but it's gotta be PBT.
-
Home = 104 Filco Majestouch 1 with brown switches
Work = modded 11900 with mostly brown and some blue switches.
-
White Filco Majestouch 2 104-key w/browns.
-
Please stay ON TOPIC!
Thanks.
That's the ripster I know! Flaunting that elite status haha.
In all honesty, the OP should re-title this thread to "What do the GH users who've used over 10 different keyboards use?"
I hope by that point, they're just collecting them though...
-
I'm still using mostly my Dolch, a Cherry G80-1813HFX with dental bands for dampening.

I see your point. I guess we could round up if it's close to a thousand. Personally, I have 5 boards with 5 different switches and another kb in the mail, but I'm still a total noob.
I think anyone with a thousand posts:
1. Is probably serious about their keyboard hobby.
2. Has probably tried just about every switch currently available.

Or spend too much time in the groupbuy forum.

???
You're pushing a thousand - dude. What's your favorite (I know it's not Ducky)?
-
Model M SSKs or White Filcos w/ browns
-
KBC Poker with reds primary, and my other Poker with blues sometimes.
-
Current: KBC Poker with Ghetto Reds, fallingapart SSK, Tipro MID-XM-KM032.
Other computers: iOne / Qtronix Scorpius 35, Razer BlackWidow.
Off duty: Dolch PAC65 G80-1813HFX with Trackpoint, Model F Terminal Unsaver, G80-8200LPBUS with Clears.
In storage: 122 key Terminal Model F, too many Data911 M2C-TG3-TPs, BSR Futaba, Dell AT101W, Compaq G80-11800, broken LASER, more SSKs.
Dismantled / Disassembled: Matias Tactile Pro 3, several SteelSeries 6Gv1s, G80-8200HUMUS, G80-11900HPMUS, mysterious "high-roller" wooden keyboard, MAJIQ OmniKey, Dell AT101 old logo, G80-3000HAD, 1391401.
That's all I can think of.

You can push a lot of post in the GB section trying to get more keycaps.
Well, not Ducky 1000 series. 9000 series has up and downs. For the record, I am buying a Ducky Dragon Year Edition. I am not completely anti Ducky as you may believe I am.
As for my favorite... I like the typing feel on my G80-1800 in blue, and I like the layout. If I had to pick only 1, it would be this. That said, I do own more Filcos than I like to admit and been using them for the most part for the past 6 months or so. I like the slightly less hard feel of PCB mount, but platemount is more resistant to stupidity in keypulling and Costar stabilizers are just superior.
-
I'm using my G80-3000 now, though I'm a fan of my Model M. I also have a Focus FK2001 that my sister uses, which I equally enjoy typing on.
-
I have been using my unicomp customizer for some time now. Once I get another mcmaster order in, I'll bolt mod it, too.
In front of my other "non work" computer, I have a Cmstorm in red, though I'm considering changing it out for a CMstorm in blue.
Once I get a computer with windows and a PS2 port, I'll program my access-IS keyboards, and switch to them on the "non work" computer, so I can turn one sideways to use as a gaming keyboard.
Unfortunately at work, I'm forced to use a RD, though I did try them all and take the best one in the office. They are all old, and terrible. They won't let me bring in one of my own to use (I'd probably take the WYSE PCE in, 'cause it's quiet, that or the olivetti RD)
-
I'm not 'elite' but I've owned a few keyboards.
Daily driver boards at present:
Work- Lexmark 122 key aircraft carrier
Home- Unicomp Wildcat (for typing /coding), Choc Mini White with cherry browns (for gaming).
-
2nd page, no one has mentioned an ergo board yet like kinesis?
-
Here you go.
Mx5000
-
Top 5:
Filco camo TKL Blues with Wyse keycaps
Filco black TKL Blues with PBT blank keycaps
CoolerMaster quickfire TKL Reds with RagnorockReds keycaps
IBM Model M and Unicomp
HHKB
-
Not elite but, I alternate between hhkb and poker with blues and 62g springs.
