Hi guys, was reading this forum for quiet a while and wanted to buy a new mechanical keyboard. Now the time has come that my old keyboard annoys me so much, i HAVE to buy a new one.
I am from Germany and the main issue is, that it has a standard layout. Also i like MX blacks. So i came to the conclusion that the Meka G1 is the keyboard i should buy. But just before buying it i stumbled across the Meka G Unit.
Now my questions:
Which keyboard is "better"? The price for both lies around 80 Euros. The G Unit is ugly but it will be ok for me. It has back light and more keys.
Are there advantages of the G1 over the G unit? Both have an PS2 adapter and NKRO?
And how is the USB-port of the G unit? That of the G1 is fine i read. The G unit seems to only have one usb cable to the PC. Is that right? (Only saw pics, never read anything about it.)
Thanks for all your comments!
P.s. It will mainly used for gaming but for some typing too.

The G1 is the best of the Thermaltake boards. It's made by costar and has better build quality. The other models are made by iOne and they are not regarded as well.

The biggest difference is the Meka G-Unit's price.
Real steal at 50 Cent.
Thank you, I'll be here all week.
