So, I have been looking for a carrying case for my Das for some time, as there are no good ones currently available, and I happened upon this http://www.shopfalcon.com/shopFalcon/ProductDetails.aspx?ItemId=5
It looks to be what I am looking for, but does anyone know the reputation of this company/this case in particular before I go throwing card information at them. Thanks

Go down to you local music / pawn / charity shops and look around for old horn (as in trumpets, etc) cases. You will have to tear out the horn forms if it has them, but you might be able to get a nice hardcase and glue in some eggcrate foam for quite cheap.

I used to play trumpet, and the cases are either too big, or the soft cases aren't the right shape. Even a trumpet case would be far too wide and tall for just a keyboard, so I would like a case more suited to carrying just a keyboard and a couple of peripherals, and this seems like a good one.

Walmart $21 fits tkl boards

Yeah, but OP has a Das, so it's a full size. A horn case might be a little large, but once you cut out your own foam... extra room good for mousemats, mice, cables, etc that you might need for a lan. I always prefer a hardcase. Sorry if you didn't find my suggestion helpful.

I think its the 500 chip poker case that holds a full size but I don't know about a DAS you would have to measure it.
-
Maybe a soft Sai weapon case. 12-20 bucks quickly searched and doesn't look bad, unless someone thinks you're carrying weapons. How thick is the kb? I have one of those cases with weapons somewhere. I could dig it up and measure.

Yeah, I just don't want a hardcase, as they tend to be more awkward, and they take up a bit of space when they are not holding anything.

The Das is 18x8, however, I don't want a hard case.

I'll take a look at those, but it isn't that much less than this. The KB is about 1" thick at its thickest, and it would be awesome if you could do that. I might just pull the trigger on this, and see how it turns out.

My first mechanical kb is in the mail. Arriving today if lucky so if you have the patience I could get better results comparing with it.
EDIT> Got my kb and compared. Answer is no. My case is about 22,6 x 7 inches, dont know if they come in other sizes. If you have the DAS with the hump on the right side then that will make it too wide and if you have another model then it would be even worse. The case isnt wide enough which it needs to be to compansate for the kb thickness since the case isnt designed for thick objects.
Drumstick cases are neat but those might be even smaller. Maybe a messenger bag or similar is the way to go, youd have space for other things also.
(sorry for grammar, my keys arent set up correct. Have to reboot)

Yeah, drumstick cases I know are too small. I think I will just pull the trigger on this if I can get it for $25. Might wait a couple weeks until I finish up with my school though.

You can look for some airsoft or gun bags. Most of the mini machine gun types will be too big, but I have seen a few that are a perfect fit. Forgot which gun model it was for though.

Get a noppoo case through qtan i got 3 and am loving them. I also recommended getting some high density foam to getva snug fit.
