Title: 1986 Model M 1390131 $20 AUC
Post by: 486 on Wed, 23 May 2012, 16:24:01
I know somebody that might like this. (basemk1979) http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-IBM-Computer-Clicky-Keyboard-1390131Model-M-S1833-/180889739765?pt=PCA_Mice_Trackballs&hash=item2a1dde61f5 It however has not been tested and is missing the f9 cap. But you can order caps from clickykeyboards.com.

20 bucks + 17 bucks shipping.

The f9 key isn't a big deal, if somebody was doing a unicomp order you could get one easy peasy.

and if it doesn't work (as it is untested) that might be a moot point.

The parts are valuable, even if it took buying a later one to get it running. That heavy plate, and metal badge, those are bad-ass.

I would doubt that it doesn't work. Model M's especially the earlier models were well made. Even if it isn't working the parts are still worth $19. I much prefer the 1390131 to the 1390120 because the latter doesn't have LED lock lights.
