Alright, so i've been using the razor black widow for 7 months now, and i don't like the blue switches, i play alot of sc2 and i don't like they way these keys feel, also it's pretty annoying to double tap, the mere thing i like about this keyboard is the typing, but that's not what i was looking for.
so basicilly, can you help me find something else? i'm not really experienced with this and the blackwidow is my first mech keyboard.

So what are you looking for in a keyboard? Do you like the tactile feedback from the blues or does it get in the way? Do you use the the numpad at all?
-
Browns if you want some feedback
Reds if you don't
-
I don't like the tactile feedback, i don't like having to press so hard down almost like i've got a rubber dome keyboard.. i think.. i should just get blacks or reds.
-
Get reds. Blacks are about the same force to push down at a rubber dome (pretty sure, don't quote me on that)
-
alright thanks, but what rred mech keyboard do you reccomend me getting?

I was surprised how stiff the MXBlacks were on a new Filco Majestouch 2 I just picked up. I've always used the MXBlues but I wanted something quieter since it was annoying the hell out of my girlfriend. I think I'm going to look for MXReds though since the MXBlacks are just too stiff for me for gaming. I'll probably pick up a Corsair Vengeance K60 or try the Rosewill keyboard.

I just picked up a new CM Storm Quick Fire Rapid with Cherry MX Reds, and I love it. Keep the browns at work for typing, and the reds at home for gaming. The CM board is solid and usually at a lower price point than some others.

Hmmm, guess i'll check that out. Or i migh just wait for the steelseries 6v2 red switch version to come out, been hearing about it.
-
Btw , i see you guys just pick up new keyboards, what do you do with your old keyboards? (just wondering lol)

For a TKL board Filco or CM Storm
Full sized WASD
I only have one board right now, but I'm sure alot of people here have more than one board
