I finally drink-wrecked my daily driver Razer BlackWidow mechanical (not Ultimate).
I'm not all that interested in salvage, but if you are, drop me a PM if you'd like to buy it from me for spare parts.
It's a budget keyboard with Cherry Blues and I'd estimate that the right lower quarter of the main typing area is damaged just because the switches don't click. That leaves the rest of the keyboard with its extra function keys, glowing LED thinger, and fantastic programmable controller functional.
I was thinking of soaking it in hot water but I have never done this with Cherry Blues so I have no idea it will work or even be worth doing.

Everyone loves to drench their BW's in liquid, dont they?

ikr, this is like the 3rd/4th post I've seen about spilling drink over their BW.
A lot over at OCN

I'm no chisler, I'm not looking to cut my losses. This is a budget keyboard and I just want to know if anyone wants the remaining ninety or one hundred or so Cherry Blue keyswitches for salvage.

if only 4 switches are damaged, why not solder in some new ones?

It really does seem like people that have the blackwidow have drinking problems. But there are probably a lot of people that own them period. Razer is a bigger company.

I see your "location" string there. You should not use your Razer BlackWidow keyboard in a public bathroom ... ;)
No, seriously, where are you located?
