Please do not be offended in my question as I'm just trying to figure out from ignorance? You can definitely tell the bottom was sprayed, but the top looks true black and you said its a black board anyway. Maybe its an optical illusion.............., but if a IBM M black plastic case is rubbed on, got a small scratch would black or white plastic come through? It just looks like in the lower right corner some black has rubbed off and white is coming through? Should it not be black...........?

yes its the glare I have just checked it, it wil not rub off and white will not come through on the top case
