Hello,
This is my first post here, I have been lurking around a bit and am still a bit out to lunch with my selection of a keyboard.
I am currently using the MS natural egro 4000, I LOVE the wrist support. That said i would like to move to a keyboard that is
mechanical,
backlit AND
contains macro keys.
I bought the corsair K90 (cherry mx reds) and although i was impressed with its build quality i found that i was making quite a few errors. When gaming i had my buttons on the wasd keys and found my "resting pressure" sometimes was enough to trigger movement. I also experienced quite a bit of pain in my hand when using it. The non mech fkeys and macros was a bit of a turn off for me too. The keys were raised too high? or something weird like that. I ended up returning this.
I think cherry mx brown switches are the way to go for me, the ONLY 2 keyboards i know that fullfills my requirements are Razer Blackwidow Ultimate Stealth (has browns) but i am aware of razer qc issues and the CM storm trigger. I came REALLY close to ordering the ducky shine, but i just cannot do it because of its lack of macro keys.
Any other keyboards that meet my requirements outside of the storm trigger?
Thanks!

The deck legend keyboards don't have macro keys, but it is a nice solid keyboard :).

I will look at this, any other suggestions?

Thermaltake Meka G-Unit (http://usa.ttesports.com/products/product.aspx?s=23)
Has MX Blacks but fulfills your backlit and macro requirements.
Here's (http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?14992-Thermaltake-Meka-G1-keyboard-First-Impressions-and-Pics) a review on a similar board from the same manufacturer. I've read the G-Unit is among the boards sold by Thermaltake that are manufactured by iOne which is undesirable for whatever reason, don't know the details but look into it if you're considering it.

If you found the MX reds to be too sensitive the MX blacks would probably be perfect. I use a Filco Majestouch Ninja TKL with MX Blacks and I find the keys to be not sensitive enough... but my resting position is with my hand hovering the keyboard not resting on the keys.
