First post here. So don't ask how, but I just got my hands on both a Filco Majestouch-2 Full Keyboard with Cherry browns as well as a CM Quickfire Rapid TKL with Cherry reds (well, not quite yet - they're being shipped to me as we speak). Shamefully, this is just my first foray into mechanical keyboards, as I have been using a G15 all this time. There were some aspects of the G15 I liked, but I eventually grew tired of the "squishy" keys...idk
Anyways, I've never used a mechanical, so what should I expect from these two boards? I do quite a bit of typing for school, but also love to play FPS games in my free time. I'd say 60% typing and 40% shooters. Which would probably be suited for me long-term? Which has the better resale value (as I'm probably going to get rid of one of them). Pros and cons of both? I will probably test both boards thoroughly, but I just want an initial opinion from the experts on this website.
Thanks for your help!

All I can say is you are going to have fun with that Filco, you will probably use that one the most. Though I personally have no experience with either board I'm just going from what I have read from this forum and my experience with brown switches. The slight tactile bump for me is a nice typing experience. But if you were considering selling them. I can tell for the most part that selling that quickfire might not be that easy with all the logos stamped all over it. But, I'll take it off of your hands if you wind up not liking it.

I am a typist and not a gamer, and I rely on the numpad. A full-size Filco with browns is in the #1 position on my wish list.
However, the gamers all seem to prefer the smaller footprint, and linear switches, so the reds are likely to be easier to resell here, at a higher price.
