I sent him some capslocks to mod for me in January; Just got them 2 weeks ago...Untouched

So yes he had my keys for 6 months and didn't even do the work. Still waiting on a refund.

I would suggest you contact someone else for modding.

I would personally suggest anyone other than him. My capslock hit shift and was unusable when I got it back from him. There are more testimonials elsewhere if you look for them.

My suggestion was a joke. I've seen his threads, and your participation in them, in his subforum.

Without a jig?! MADNESS!! A jig is the only way to get it perfect. It also allows for every modded keycap to be identical.

What percentage of my posts contain the word capslock... It's scary... I don't know if I want to know...

Lol...it's not that hard to get it straight.  It isn't like a spacebar that has 3 stems separated by a great distance.

The_Ed did a marvelous job with my Filco Ergo Clear mod.  I can vouch for him.  Good luck getting the stems though.

PS - He may ask you to check if the Leopold is RoHS compliant.  He was none too happy when it took forever to remove the solder from my Filco.

Thanks for vouching. I guess I should bite the bullet and order 6 more rolls of desoldering braid that will work for RoHS modding. And another soldering tip or so.

I have a jig for the opposite mod. Center-shaft -> left-shaft. It is at most a few thousands of an inch off. My modded capslock is perfect from every angle with the naked eye. Asperger's Syndrome == Anal Retentive.
