Title: G80-1856 for sale on ebay!
Post by: cherrykeyboards on Fri, 15 June 2012, 02:59:54
Anyone who is interested - Ebay currently has a G80-1856 for sale (not my listing by the way).

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Cherry-G80-1856HQMGB-MX-Black-switches-2-shot-moulded-caps-black-case-/200775782891?pt=UK_Computing_ComputerComponents_KeyboardsMice&hash=item2ebf2b51eb#ht_1433wt_1396

A derivative of the G80-1800 series - black MX, Two shot moulded caps, Czech Republic made (German components though!), PS2 version - currently a bargain!

Watch out too - there may be more G80 products coming up on ebay. Working for Cherry, I may be able to root out some oddball products from our 'under the stairs' stock of old stuff - I know there's a G80-8910 with Nationwide logo if anyone's interested.....

Enjoy!

Welcome aboard, it's about time we had some more Cherry employees around here. Tell them higher ups we said to bring back doubleshots or at the very least dyesubs into regular production again. Even some limited edition boards would be very welcome over the insanity of tracking down certain used / old stock models. Lasered keycaps doesn't cut it. Cherry G80 boards used to be some of the nicest around, now they are just kind of meh.
