So I bought a Razer Blackwidow from ebay last year and sold it after one week,
now I bought a new one, and I could swear that it sounds different than the one I had last year
I think the older one sounded much louder (the click),
Does anyone know something about Razer changing something in the Blackwidow?
I mean the switches are the same, but maybe they changed something with the keys , or is it me remembering it louder when it wasn't?
I'm pretty sure because I had a Zowie too at that time too, and I remember the Blackwidow was much louder than the Zowie, I could even hear the clicking with Headphones on listening to loud music,
Now I've got a Keyboard with MX browns here too and the Razer is not louder than the MX Brown
I've also seen a lot of Blackwidow review videos on youtube, and the older ones, (early 2011)
seem to be much louder than the newer ones, Does anyone know something about this?

There's actually two versions of the Blackwidow, one with brown switches and one with blue ones. Pop off a keycap to see which one you have.

no the one i had and the one I have now are both the mx blue version, not silent,
just that the click sound, was much louder on the older one,

I was using one up to today and it was very loud, its few months old and it was much louder than the Filco brown I am now using. I liked the Razer as it was my first mechanical board. I looked and its still a blue switch version.
