Topre is to expensive for me and I would like if the keycaps had the hiragana on it. Thanks for the suggestions though.

there are japanese layout filcos as well. those are probably the two most popular brands with japanese layout boards.. well worth the money either way

Uh I think it's because both of those are Japanese brands, though Filco is made in Taiwan from Costar, not too sure where Topres are made

You do know Chinese layout = US ANSI? It is Taiwanese layout that has the mopomofos

oh!!! that explains why all the hotel clerks were using ansi ansi boards!!
