Hello, small question.
If I make a script which moves my mouse/cursor, does the type of mouse I have affect the speed of my script? So, if I have a high dpi mouse, would the script make the cursor move faster?
Thanks in advance.

I don't think so.
But your windows mouse sensitivy comes into account, if you have touched this, I believe.
-
which os and mouse are you using?
-
I use a crap mouse atm. That's why I wonder, if I should get a faster mouse. I want to know if it makes my script faster.
-
Nop it shouldn't. Welcome btw !
-
Thank you! And are you certain is doesn't? Is there another way to surpass the maximum speed? I already set the mouse speed to max at options. I use windows xp.
-
Wow, if the max mouse speed in XP is still usable you might consider buying a new mouse. Pumping the speed up software-wise will reduce resolution quite a bit i guess.....
-
So my question is still unanswered:) Or atleast, one answered:) But I need to be sure before I buy an expensive gaming mouse. The question is quite simple. I just want the script to be faster, does it help to buy a new mouse with higher DPI?
-
why don't you modify the script?
-
The physical mouse does not effect the speed of mouse movements in a script

Expensive? If high DPI is your only requirement (no fancy tricks, LOD, leds, branding or whatever) then the chinese can sell you stuff CHEAP!

1600DPI (heck, there are even lower ones selectable with a button), price includes shipping.... just order two and one of those will probably work and keep working for a mantionable period of time :D
