Title: WYSE PCE "Telerate Dow Jones" 900866-1, any interest in a dead board?
Post by: dante on Tue, 19 June 2012, 19:48:19: I purchased this recently and unfortunately it is now dead. It might work on your PC but I'm not going to guarantee it. I keep getting "Beep Beep Beep" upon booting. As of now - no beeping - no lights - not working. I could not figure out what the hell is wrong with it. You've been warned.

It has non-shiny abs double shots, smooth vintage cherry mx blacks (which are smoother and require less force than modern blacks.)

Also when it WAS working I got as high as 10NKRO on some combinations so it would make a good gamer board.

I paid over $90 for this and am just trying to make something back. If any hardware tinkerers want to give it a go it might be a bargain board for you if you're a genius and can fix it for nothing.

The back of the keyboard says Wyse, the front says "Telerate Dow Jones Global Information". Unfortunately I have no pics currently.

900866's w/ PS/2 are pretty rare - but even if you don't buy it for the board you could use the double shots off of it - or solder the rare Vintage Blacks into another board.

Prefer to ship in CONUS due to the fact I will lose my ass on shipping.

Listening to $$$ and/or Gift Card transactions.

Also might be able to take this as currency/trades: Steel Series 6gv2, Filco w/ Blacks, O-Rings, Wire keycap pullers, etc, just offer.

I'm just desperate to make something back - maybe someone here with more brains then me can fix it and get some value out of it. Me, I just feel like I flushed a bunch of cash down the toilet. What stuff might not be much worth to you I might like.

Get a card reader. lol Anyway, yeah.. pics might help speed up your sale. I'm interested also but would like to see some pictures first if possible.
