Title: Non-tactile non-clicky (reds or other). Open to suggestions. (Canada)
Post by: prock on Wed, 20 June 2012, 15:47:59
I've been happy with my Filco M2 w/browns and Leopold w/clears but still bottom out every keypress and have decided to just face that fact and try out something without any tactile response at the actuation point. Anything with reds would suffice but am open to trying something other than Cherry switches.

(Must be wiling to ship to Ontario, Canada)

EDIT: Must be tenkeyless.

You would actually bottom out more on a non-tactile, linear switch since you have no indication of when the activation occurs.

You may want to try using o-rings to help with your bottoming out issue.

I've used o-rings with clears for months and still bottom out. I'm not trying to fight bottoming out anymore; I'm embracing it. :D

Ahhh ok then :)

You shouldn't have too much trouble finding one. In fact, I seen a few ads in classifieds today that have reds available:
