Title: [SOLD] Rapoo v7 £35 - Fully Programmable Tenkeyless
Post by: Twig on Mon, 25 June 2012, 10:31:16
SOLD

Had this keyboard boxed away for the past 5 months, thought it would be worth posting it here since it isn't getting any use now.
Used it maybe 5 times (approx 3hours usage)

Really nice board if you're into Reds(45g). Every thing works as it should.
The Keyboard uses Imitation switches with a yellow stem. Not Cherry MX switches, but cherry mx keycaps are compatible
Nice reviews;

The macro feature really is amazing. I wish every keyboard would come with such functionality.

I'll include the software CD

£35

Very interested, and I'm in the UK :)

But aren't the imitation yellow switches a bit heavier than reds, I thought they were between blacks and reds?

Yeah, that's how they're advertised.
but after some coin tests I found the force required is the same as reds. They're a super-light switch.
some other members did the "ripometre" test (http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?21423-Rapoo-v7/page2)
