Pining for the look and feel of the Geekhack of old?  Give the "Nostalgia" theme a try!

It looks similar but isn't quite the same. The grays and blacks are too harsh, maybe lighten them up.


I'm not complaining, it's still better than whatever the default was

I matched the hex codes exactly to parts of the old forum (which I still have a static copy of).  What's different is the layout and how/where the SMF default theme uses some of the colors.  It's not exact, by any means, but it should help some people feel more at home.  :)

yea.........i'm liking it, but the "old logo" i was diggin more 8)

the color scheme (old logo) matches this theme if i recall pretty good? this them seems to be a little easier to read i guess.

HOWEVER..........just happy to have GH back up and running so kudo's and thank you.

we know you're still tweakin...........

Didn't realize you can change theme, switched to nostalgia but it doesn't feel like the old GH, I think I'm gonna stay on this new theme, all that white on DT messed up everything :)

I think someone changed the default template that these themes inherit from.  I really didn't touch font sizes, except in the menu bar.  Also, Firefox renders things larger than Chrome for some reason.

i would think because the old template has the border around the outside pushing everything more center.

makes it a little busier imop, clashier i guess would be the verbage- but i'm sure it will be settled on what the majority wants.
