I love my mech keyboard but the downside is the noise at work disturbing others.
should I get some O-rings from WASD or soft-landing pads from EliteKeyboards?
from WASD I see 3 types of O-rings, which would be the best in terms of noise reduction but least amount of change to the feel? and what about the landing pads?
also, any recommendations on ~$100 keyboards with dye printing? I hate the feel of the letters when I type. I currently use a DAS Silent with blank keycaps but I'm considering getting a non blank for work.
thanks!

I use the soft landing pads from Elite keyboard but I hear more people use the wasd o-rings.
I'm not to sure on what are the differences are though.

Everything works exactly as advertised. I think both soft landing pads & o-rings work the same.
But I prefer o-ring personally, cos I can freely stack few o-rings into one keycap more easier.

I got o-rings with my first keyboard. They defiantly take something away from the typing experience. However if you need to dampen the sound they are nice (I had a roommate who liked to sleep, so I got some o-rings)

same i also prefer it without them. But out of o-rings and landing pads, i prefer landing pads. O-rings have to much travel reduction.

hey dude!
I started a thread about this on the WASD vendor page, but I thought I'd post here as well.
I have a copy of noobcake's trial pack of o-ring and dampener pads and I'm sending it out to people trusting that they'll send it back to me when done or send it on to the next person who wants to try them out. If you're interested (and trustworthy ;)) send me a PM with your address and I'll send it away.
