Hmm.. interesting. I wonder how's the battery life on the wireless one. Too bad, I only buy tenkeyless or smaller. lol
-
mod it to a Lithium battery and charge it with the miniusb port.... would be cool
-
but is there charging circuitry on the PCB to recharge lithium battery?
-
if i didn't have phantom parts on their way, this would be exactly what i'd be looking for. awesome board.
-
PM'd.
Excited someone is finally making this layout with a mechanical keyboard.
-
Do you have a picture with the black version showed better?
-
Any ETA on stock of other models? Specifically looking for a white with browns, this looks like it could be the perfect keyboard for me :3
Which stabilizers does it use, and how will keycaps fare, compared to the "norm" (costar/filco)
-
Can't wait til the white one is available.
-

no, but the chargeing control pcb is very cheap and easy to get.
-
That's awesome. I knew it was just a matter of time before this was made. I'll have to wait on (anything but blacks) to come out. If my roommate buys my CMstorm, I might get this.
Reminds me of the IBM Model F AT, and the Phantom. Pretty cool.

Wow.. now it'll be between this and next-gen WASD v2 keyboards! But with the Plum, you can mod the switches without soldering right?
-
Awesome features and fantastic layout.. I love wire/wireless both working. But I wonder how the tremble control works, and it is a basical or optional.

yeah it seems a little bit complicate, but I think it is a useful function when the keyboard geting old

Hmm.. I thought '6 tremble control' means the shaking or vibrating ones. But there is no photo about it and i'm curious;)

What type of lettering will be on the pom caps? How thick are the caps (both types)? Also when can we get our hands on different switches?
-
What colour is the PCB? I see red and green ones in the picture.
-
no exact about the other switchs, the PCB is red
-
even cheaper than my keycaps. lol
>_>
Gonna wait and see if it'll come in other switches.
-
there would be but would be later.
-
I'd hit it
-
interesting!
1) any tenkeyless models in the works?
2) does the charging board integrate into the housing?
3) PCB mounted or plate mounted? hard to tell from pictures
4) are the LED leads wired to a power source?
very cheap!
-
If i did not already intend to get a very similar layout for my phantom, I would be very interested in this. Wireless connectivity is also quite attractive, though I probably wouldn’t use it much.

1 it's nkey
2 no charging board... it's just my idea about the mod
3 pcb mounted, no plate
4 yes the led will light up when it's been done.

Can you update OP when you have the white model in stock or at least post to this thread (i subscribed to it)? I'm planning on picking up the white model when it's available. Thanks :)

Typing on one of these bad boys now, though I as just moved into a new house pictures will have to wait so I will provide a quick rundown of this (minus the wireless which I will do when I take pictures).
1. PCB mounted Black MX switches.
2. Nice thick POM caps.
3. About 1 inch wider in total width than my Filco MJ1 (main cluster is the same width, it is basically just adding another column of keys as it appears)
4. Fairly light weight (PCB mounted probably a big reason for this)
5. Spacebar stabilizers are not the standard Filco,Ducky spacing. The stabilizers are not the same as the Leo 200 series either. The stabilizers are strangely enough spaced the same as the Leo 500 series (fullsize boards). The spacebar that comes with the PLUM is appears to be designed to fit all three of these (Filco/Ducky, Leo500,Leo200) spacing plus the offset Cherry spacebar.
6. Fairly standard smooth usb detachable cable.
Not sure what else to add to this quick rundown. Bummed a bit about the spacebar, but it might push me to finally get into the stem modding game as my CCnG caps were destined for this board. So far I am satisfied and my coworker will receive his tomorrow (ordered two of them).

Are you kidding?! That's a major letdown :(
-
space bars are the most used keys. ..
-
Is this still available?
-
I just ordered two from him. Should still be available. Takes time though :) so be patient.
-
What are the models available? Still only Black with Cherry Black?
-
Ohhhh. The white one looks nice.
-
saaad, wish they would do this GB again with browns. The CM TK is fugly.

Can somebody please explain what a tremble control does? I know the word "tremble" but it doesn't make sense in a keyboard context :D
EDIT:
Lol, I just realised this thread was necroed...
Maybe someone can still answer my question?

If you look around these are readily available through a TaoBao agent and maybe one of the vendors here (and they're rather cheap too).
