So, after having this full size Rosewill RK-9000BR since January/Early February. I have noticed a few things...
1. I love brown switches and...
2. It takes up a bit of space.
I have had a bluetooth keyboard for my HP Touchpad that I enjoy typing on when I use my tablet but it doesn't have any of the extra keys that are on a normal keyboard.
I know that, I could get a tenkeyless brown switch. But I was thinking about getting a scissor switch keyboard since it can be even smaller then say... a filco or leopold tenkeyless sometimes. Can anyone recommend one for me?
My only requirements is that it doesn't have media keys, or if it does. That they don't replace any function <insert number here> key or any other keys that a tenkeyless keyboard would have. And that its wired (with a decent cord length).

I rather like the Microsoft Arc (http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Arc-Wireless-Keyboard-Xbox/dp/B002VR6A9K/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1343172262&sr=8-3&keywords=Microsoft+Arc). It's a very thin, light, yet solid feeling scissor switch keyboard that was my favorite go-to board until I got my Leopold.

I'm a fan of the Microsoft Bluetooth Keyboard 5000 (http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Bluetooth-Mobile-Keyboard-5000/dp/B005HU0LX4). I can type faster on the Microsoft 5000 than on my (pre-island) ThinkPad. (~85 WPM vs. ~80 WPM) Also the Logitech DiNovo edge (http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-diNovo-Edge-Keyboard-Black/dp/B000J43HJ8/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1343173805&sr=1-1&keywords=logitech+dinovo+edge) is a great keyboard. $80 is a good price for it. The Logitech K750 Solar (http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Wireless-Solar-Keyboard-K750/dp/B004MF11MU/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1343174044&sr=1-1&keywords=logitech+k750) has nice tactile feedback. I've only tested it out at the store though.
I have the Arc keyboard but never use it. It looks cool and the keys are tactile, but I'm not a big fan of island keys and the shape/layout are a little weird.

I must point out that I said wired keyboards... I dislike having everything wireless. I only do wireless mouses...and that is probably going to change soon.

The best scissor switch out IMO... but I think they stopped making the wired tenkeyless version:

But I will say... the wireless on these is superb if you have bluetooth on your computer. Works like a charm, batteries last forever.

I was wondering, do you want small as in small footprint, slim, or just small total volume?
There's always the compact mechanical keyboards like the Pure, Poker or HHKB (Or even my HE0100 that is both compact with scissor switch level slim keys, there's a MD01B0 [White version] on Yahoo Auctions right now), the compact layout may not be traditional but I think the size fits a tablet more. And you get mechanical switches there as well.

I don't know about scissor switches, but I put in a vote for a cherry ML keyboard. I have a G84-4101 and it's small, light, has short travel, and is still mechanical and pretty awesome. I think I paid under $20 for it.

True it's a great board and the ML switches feel pretty good, however, the only downside is the somewhat smaller layout and compact keys which might be great for those with small hands (no stereotyping here)

That one looks really awesome... but where could I get one like that...?

That is a tad too compact for my tastes. I'm kinda looking for a normal tenkeyless (or full) sized scissor switch board.
