That doesn't really answer my question. all he says is it has an improved PCB. that doesn't mean its not plate mounded. Unless I'm missing something. :\

It's essentially Leopold's brother with costar stabalizer, and yes it is plate, just as Leopold. They are like a Frankenstein of Leopold fc700 pcb and fc200 case for less cost basically.

Sorry about the hastiness and incompleteness of my answer...  Glad Lysol made everything clear.

wow you guys just gave me a great idea; I've thinking about your poker plate mod, Lethal Squirrel, and where to get a cheap plate with costar stabs to make a filco-esque poker, and I think you just answered my question!  If only they made a board with MX clears for harvesting...

I bought one of each of the listed Keycool keyboards (White87, Black87, & White84).  They are LE Editions, with Clears, but they are about $20 more than a regular Keycool.  Got them using Qtang as an agent.

thanks, I'll look into that!  Sucks that I only have 2 pokers and 2 plates already otw and will probably be able to find some clear stems before the plates arrive, but the costar stabs sure are tempting!

I just realized that the leopold spacebar puts the switch in the wrong place for a poker. Damn.

Spacebar switch has the correct placement, it's the stabilizers spacing that is closer together. If you are considering getting one to cut up for modding, punching 2 new stab mounts in the plate shouldn't be too difficult. I strongly considered doing that on one of the Leopolds I owned so I could use regular spacebars instead of modding the spacebars all the time, just fix the cause of the problem.
