Title: Hope this doesn't sound like the begining of an AA meeting
Post by: Ibdabloke on Fri, 27 July 2012, 12:49:50
Hi, I'm Ibdabloke

Welcome Ibdabloke

I'm here as I suffer from Computer Hardware Syndrome or CHS for short.

We understand your pain

Thanks, it's difficult to chat with people who have never heard of CHS or possibly don't know of anyone diagnosed with CHS.

You are among the afflicted, again welcome.

I'm glad to have found geekhack.org today, looking forward to learning and sharing.

And remember, there is no current cure for CHS, once diagnosed you've only started on the road to accepting and managing the disease.

CHS sounds a lot better then CRDS aka. “Cheap Rubber Dome Syndrome”

Unfortunately, since finding GeekHack I have contracted a new condition known by many GH members as EWS or more simply "Empty Wallet Syndrome".

Welcome to Geekhack!

Unfortunately, since finding GeekHack I have contracted a new condition known by many GH members as EWS or more simply "Empty Wallet Syndrome".

I cannot stress this enough. In just over a year since buying my first mech board (Filco MJ2 87 w/ browns), I've gone through probably $2000 in keyboards. And now i'm about to drop another $300+ on an AE RF 87.

Anybody that says it's not an addiction is lying.
