Title: 6*8 keypads available anywhere?
Post by: dotancohen on Mon, 30 July 2012, 14:06:53
Does anyone know where one might be able to buy a 6*8 mechanical switch keypad with matrix layout? I don't care what type of keycaps are on it.

Thanks.

Closest I can think of is Tipro 8*8 (http://www.tipro.si/index_products_free_tmkmx064a.html).

Access-is do one (http://www.access-is.com/pdf/AKC_Programmable_POS_Keyboards.pdf).  Good luck in getting hold of one, though.

There was someone selling one of those smaller Access on here awhile ago, not sure if they ever did sell it, could try classifieds. Also genovation has a 7*5 keypad if you could shrink down a little.

Half-Saint over on DT is in contact with them as he's from Slovenia. You could try asking him. Most people just get them from ebay. Actually...wait a second...okay I actually have two 8*8 ;)
Obviously I wanted to do something similar as you with them but didn't find the time. I've had them lying around for about two months now. If you're interested tell me were you are and I can check what I paid for them and give you a quote.

Ask nicely on Deskthority.

Maybe someone has one.

Most of the circulating tipros are comming used from a shop. Tipro usually only directly deals with compagnies.
