Title: Hello, new member with a goal

I stumbled on this site though Reddit through Anandtech, a a tech~~nerd~~ enthusiast site. Looking around, I think I found a place where I can achieve my goal - to hack a mouse wheel/middle button to my Trackman Marble (http://www.logitech.com/en-us/mice-pointers/trackballs/4680) - I'd love to somehow do this, and as much an ignoramus on tech hacking as I am, I hope to gleam some edumacation from the other members here!

To that effect, I'll lurk around some, and go from there. :D
