The Zombie pudding you see above is actually one of our first 'experimental' keycaps, so the finish isn't as smooth as I wanted it to be (like the new Tiger ones). Theres a couple of requests for the Zombie pudding already through my PM.

I thought Green and Purple would be good complementing colours, do you want one with a blue base instead?

As an estimate I'll have a complete inventory of around ten (10) keycaps, varying in colour and style (Tiger, White Tiger, Zombie Tiger, Sludge + Special requests), addressed in a first come first serve basis, so it if VERY limited!

If things pick up they'll definitely be a Round 2. I'll have to order some more keycaps from Signature Plastics. Was thinking of doing some spherical keycaps maybe?

Just for the record I do have a day job so this is a nice side hobby I'd like to share with the GH community! (i.e. not doing this fulltime).

consider their glow-in-the-dark and translucent materials! DCS profile caps tend to match with our other caps best, but if you can do something particularly cool with the sphericals, have at it!

Rest assured that the Round 1 price will remain the same as promised.

i'm going to get preachy here, but this isn't how we treat people who go through the effort to make something creative on geekhack. if they volunteer to share their methods, that's cool, awesome even, but we don't beg them to tell us how to make things. if we want something similar, and we don't want to commission them to do it, and they don't volunteer to show us how they did it, we start our own thread, start playing with the same fundamentals they did, and make something cool by ourselves.

anyway, i'm sure your question was not malicious, and you're just as excited as we are, but please be careful when you ask people who have put hard work into things "hey can you tell me exactly what you just did so i can skip all that hard work for myself?".

i'd love to know how its done as well but i didn't ask because he is selling them so didn't want to take anything away from his great products. but i know my girl would love to do this as she is very artsy as well and im always spending tons of money on art crap for her so its only fair if i get something i can actually use out if it as well right? lol

Ok saying this isn't how we treat people seems a stretch from a would you mind question. No is a perfectly acceptable and understandable answer and my question was in no way meant to be disrespectful. You kinda sound like I demanded he hand over his firstborn child. I politely asked something and again no is a perfectly fine answer.

I would have bought one from him either way (if i can get one that is).

I really was just excited and was thinking about experimenting with his method to see what I could create and that seems to be a large part of what geekhack is all about. In that context I don't think it is offensive to ask.

If you honestly feel my behaviour needs to be discussed further would you mind doing that via PMs rather then in this thread bc I feel it's somewhat missplaced here and like you suggested gets in the way of the excitement about these awesome keycaps. :)
