What use is a mouse without a scroll wheel anymore?

Agreed, unlike keyboards, mice are. for the most part, getting better. Some might argue against that in regards to Trackballs, but I am one of the strange people that prefers the Trackman Wheel to the Marble Wheel...

Oh I have a few of the Trackman Wheel's myself Love them. I have one plugged into every computer I use plus a few spares.

Same. I prefer thumb operated trackballs over fingertips, but I don't feel terribly strong either way. The good ol Expert is a fingertip trackball

Im not entirely sure why anyone would want to get used to it, considering old mice have absolutely zero benefit over some the mice that are readily available on the market today.
