Would hate to send a Ebay thread offtopic.
I'm not buying it.

Election years - it brings the best out of politicians. I also love how all this got blown WAY out of proportion. You would have a better chance of getting struck by lighting twice than having one of these problems. If Toyota would have been more diligent in handling the problems, none of this would have happened. If it wasn't already their fault by not investigating the problems, it was most certainly their fault for not heading off the media juggernaut.

FWIW, Comsumer Reports just rated the 2010 Prius "Top Pick."
-
It was in a press release from CR (link (http://www.autoblog.com/2010/02/23/despite-recalls-consumer-reports-names-honda-fit-toyota-prius/)). I heard it on NPR this morning.

Whatever you say next must involve Kevin Bacon.
My daughter says Robin Williams is the new Kevin Bacon. Well, of course, we still have the old Kevin Bacon as well.
-
It is extremely rare to have a Bacon Number (number of degrees of separation) above 4. Maybe she needed more challenges.
Maybe, but maybe she is right. Unfortunately there aren't tools to automatically determine Williams numbers to compare with the Bacon tools.
-
Fine line. Japan holds more of US debt than China now
Still can't be too careful (http://www.fitsnews.com/2010/02/23/take-out-the-dalai-and-the-trash/) with China I guess.

Surprisingly enough, at least to me, there IS a tool to compare Bacon-ness to other actors, the How good a center is {fill in the blank} (http://oracleofbacon.org/cgi-bin/center-cgi) tool.
According to that tool:
Average Kevin Bacon number: 2.980
And as my daughter posited, Robin Williams beats that, barely:
Average Robin Williams (I) number: 2.882
And both are bested by Sean Connery:
Average sean connery number: 2.849

Bacon-ness... well its obvious that Peameal bacon is best.
Unfortunately probably only the initiated Canadians here will understand.

Oh, its sooo good.

Do you mean to tell me people eat it with the fat ON?
You COOK it with the fat on for flavor, then remove it before or while eating (so as to avoid massive heart problems).
Geez, what is the world coming to...
But yes, it's quite good and anyone who refers to it as "just ham" is either eating really low-grade meat or hasn't actually had any.
