Is it actually scissors, or Logitech's funny low-profile-but-otherwise-normal rubber domes?

I have a DiNovo if anyone wants to know something specific.

Pretty similar. Slightly more force if anything, and I think the keys are a thicker plastic. Key travel is the same.

Maybe it is deeper. My current laptop has a chic-let style so I don't really have a good frame of comparison.

Ive used laptop scissorz before and i must say i hate it.
I do like the logitech design how it lights up when your near etc. Good innovation. Looks good. Too bad not mechanical :/

I don't have a Logitech scissor switch keyboard, but I liked the illuminated keyboard when I tested it out at a Best Buy in Manhattan. It's got a definite tactile click to it, and the keys spring back. Thinkpad keyboards are all scissor-switch, and rght now I'm typing on an external IBM Ultranav scissor-switch keyboard.
WhiteRice: how is the integrated round touchpad? I'm using the Ultranav as my HTPC keyboard because it has an integrated Trackpoint. I happen to be a big fan of touchpad scrolling.

It's get's the job done, and the circular scrolling is an interesting feature. But I feel that the area is less than desirable.
