It's about to be available in here, hopefully in the middle of December. I'll post a pic after I buy it.
Don't know about the red wasd though - I didn't even get a keycap puller and blue wasd when I bought my FKBN104MC/EB.
-
I was looking at those but I wish they stated what color the LEDs were as well. Would look rather odd with the normal red/blue/green, white would look nice.
-
I need this. Only tenkeyless. Available in the US. By December. As soon as possible.
-
I need this, but tenkeyless and with blue keys.
-
actually, if u dont mind the Chinese letters

blue keys? That just seems like it'd look weird. I colored a lot of the keys on my Customizer 104, and once too many of them are non-standard colors, it's kinda silly looking.

How do u order from that site?

That is very, very tempting...

click the orange? button, then look at the bottom left of ur screen, click, choose country, now click the yellow button, then login...
try to open 2 tabs, 1 translated with google translate the normal web page on the second tab (the translated web page doesn't work for me, IDK why...)
-
Lol, from Google translate:
Blue Special Edition in the shell with dazzling blue water, from the general stereotype of the mechanical keyboard for your computer desktop to add one new color, work can be more relaxed and happy.
It doesn't seem clear from that website how you choose which switch it has?
-
brown
-
brown
Sounds like blues from the translated description though:
FILCO excellent workmanship, and the blue by CHERRY MX click tactile switch two-stage axial bearing, so that more obvious sense of the finger type.
Also, does this model have nkro?
-
it doesn't mention abt NKRO, but... isn't there a picture with brown switches in it -_-'''
-
Easy mod.

Is this the one with the aluminum case?
-
You know, this thread just made me think of something. Do you think there would be in any interest in carved aluminum replacement cases for filco keyboards?
Would probably be expensive as sin though. :(

isn't the shipping cost you more than 50 bucks .....
-
I just bought a pbt 104 Ducky with Chinese letters (they don't have Eng ones...) for $153, the keyboard is $129 and the shipping is around $20. They accept paypal too.
-
If you use the translator in Chrome, it says that shipping to "America and other" is $20 USD. Not bad, considering EliteKB ships the same kind of things for +$29 and that's within the continent.

Damnit that white tenkeyless looks tempting.
But...
It's a lie! If you follow the link through is a full size keyboard.
-
And someone has already bought it before I did. He bought it from Singapore if I'm not mistaken, not from my local reseller.

I think they'd be too expensive to get much interest, but you never know...
-
$500... whoa.
I wonder if we can bug clickclack to make molds for custom colored filco cases...

By the way, they are NKRO - FKBN104M/EB-AI.

Somebody buy one through PChome!
DoubleDogDareYa!
kinda gross for broadcast TV.
Oh man, the kids around here I swear. Spokane is so special sometimes.
That, and 13 and elementary school...

have any idea how long it take to ship a board from Taiwan to California ?
if less than, say 10 days... I will order something immediately
-
This would look pretty sharp with blue-on-black doubleshots.
Just sayin'.

Sorry they are all in Chinese...
Just ordered a set of Filco Otaku keys from armygroup. $50 CAD after shipping, not bad considering it's so hard to find anywhere else (unless I'm a n00b at searching). Will update if it all works out or not. Hopefully I don't get ripped off or anything.

Alright!
Do you read Chinese?
I am Chinese but was born and raised in Canada. I can read very little, but a bit of cleverness and a lot of Google Chrome's translation has got my order made, and Paypal payment completed.
-
Great - should work out fine. Let us know when you get them. How much were the keys and how much was shipping?
The Australian online site blank Filco set is $60 Aus which is about $60 American and I don't know if they ship internationally.
The site charged me $700 OMG Dollars ($700 Taiwan Dollars converts to $23.52 CAD or $23.13 USD) and then another $700 for "Shipping to Europe, America, and Canada" (that's what Chrome translated anyway). Then a small $58 charge for handling or something (not too sure what that was for, but it's like $2 converted). Here's what it came to, copy pasted from the transaction history of the site (Chrome-translated):
Goods Subtotal:$ 700 + shipping:$ 700 + Fee:$ 58
Amount due: $ 1458
This converts to $48.99 CAD or $48.17 USD. I expect others to start ordering theirs soon. XD
-
Haven't ordered from Taiwan but EMS Japan takes 4 days to the West Coast and includes tracking.
On the other extreme is DealExtreme which is usually around 3 weeks from Hong Kong.
on the web, it says it will be 4~5days to ship to US.

Buying the Filcos, Duckies and Realforces from these Taiwanese sites are cheaper compare to buying them from EK. RMA is probably a PITA.
-
I just have to wonder just how often someone needs to RMA one of these, though... I know I just recently got my Filco, but it seems fairly bulletproof compared to any of my previous keyboards...
-
Yeah, doubt you'll need to RMA. If something is wrong I'll fix it myself. I just need to figure out how to order from this site first...
edit: Used Chrome and it was pretty easy to figure out.
-
Looks like if you buy from armygroup.com.tw you get yellow WASD keys along with a red Esc and a black FILCO key. (http://www.armygroup.com.tw/shop/images/upload/Image/DSC00627(1).jpg)
-
I just ordered a Filco FKBN87M/EB for $130 shipped. I'll let you know how it goes.
-
the thing I like abt these Taiwanese websites is that they give u some nice freebies while EKB sells these things that are supposed to be free...
-
Really tempting, but I am not sure how much duty and tax would be :/ PCHome's shipping for keyboards are much cheaper compared to armygroup, and as mentioend above, the free wrist rest is nice as well. :)
-
I just ordered the Blue Filco FKB104M/CB-AI keyboard and the total came out to $3,928 TWD, which is about $132.91 USD.
I can't wait to try out the Cherry Browns!

Nice, pchome is about $139 including shipping. You don't get free caps though. It $20 for shipping so the keyboards price is roughly $119.
Cheaper at armygroup by a few bucks.
-
What was the price breakdown - product and shipping? A tenkeyless should be more like 3lbs.
on the pchome web, they are giving the promotion that shipping to North America is just around $20 for the package under 10kg.

I bought mine through PChomeand I calcualted out about $132.91, I thought someone posted earlier that armygroup was more expensive?
-
I just ordered a ducky blue tenkeyless.... 112$ shipped.
-
Pchome is $20 shipping to US. At the end Armygroup was a bit more expensive. Armygroup gives you free key-caps and Pchome gives you some sort of wrist rest for free.

Yea I would of preferred key caps, but given I've never had a wrist rest. It'll come in handy.
-
Well if they come through with decent shipping speed, it's going to be an awesome place to get keyboards from. Huge selection of ducky, cherry, and filco with very good pricing.
-
I canceled my order from pchome and ordered a brown tenkeyless from Armygroup. It's about $20 more expensive but I want to see how it compares to pchome since I predict a bunch of you are ordering from that site. At least it comes with yellow WASD keys and a free brush which is nice.
I'll let you know and you let me know!
-
Well now since the word is out everyone will be ordering from armygroup and pchome lol. These companies should contribute to geekhack!
-
What they should really do is make it easier to order in english.

Whats the fun in that :P

Then the French Canadians would complain.
That's different from normal? :P

Hey! Only normal Canadians can make fun of French Canadians.

Hey! Only normal Canadians can make fun of French Canadians.
This is true. It's been scientifically proven. Though we don't really make fun of them... Or they might up and have another referendum to try and leave Canada. I can only imagine how much higher the taxes would be for them if they left. Infinity plus one?
-
Pchome is $20 shipping to US. At the end Armygroup was a bit more expensive. Armygroup gives you free key-caps and Pchome gives you some sort of wrist rest for free.
Pchome also gives free key-caps, take the same FILCO Tenkeyless Brown N-key Chinese for example:
pchome: http://world.pchome.com.tw/?mod=item&func=exhibit&IT_NO=DCAH0X-A50461659&c=A05&tm=u
armygroup:http://www.armygroup.com.tw/shop/goods.php?id=1678
The difference is that those free aswd keycaps given by Pchome are purple, while the ones by armygroup are yellow.
-
The blue board they have isn't NKRO though. Is there a NKRO version? If not how many keys does a base model Filco register?
I suppose you could always buy a NKRO model, and then do a case swap... Kinda expensive though.

hmm? are you talking about the poster about you? if so all the keyboards he linked have NKRO. actually, all filco tenkeyless have NKRO.
-
No, sorry, I was talking about the board the topic was about, the blue 104 key Filco.
The model Armygroup has is a FKB104M/CB-AI (http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=zh-TW&u=http://www.armygroup.com.tw/&ei=C5TmTIKIG8P7lwfB3vX9Cw&sa=X&oi=translate&ct=result&resnum=1&ved=0CB8Q7gEwAA&prev=/search%3Fq%3Darmygroup.com.tw%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dfirefox-a%26hs%3DePT%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-US:official%26prmd%3Div) and doesn't mention NKRO, which is something they specify on models with the feature. I was thinking it would have been a FKBN104M/CB-AI as opposed to a FKB104M/CB-AI, so both model must exit if Ripster found the other model.
-
The Keyboardco now has those board for £100.00 excl. VAT and shipping. (http://www.keyboardco.com/keyboard_search.asp?SG=10036)
