Anway, I saw that promo as well but like you said it was only for the blues. I placed an order at the armygroup site which ends up being about $20 more expensive but it comes with free keycaps. We'll see which site is faster.
Got my filco tenkeyless brown from them for $139 including shipping. Didn't get the extra key caps but a free wrist pad. Will let you guys know of the out come.

Not to push my luck (you've already been very helpful), but do you have any idea about whether I'm taking a gamble in terms of warranty? What if it's DOA, or what if it breaks in a month? It's not likely, but is there anywhere in the US that will service these if there's an issue?
Most likely you'd have to get down and dirty and fix ya own snit. Guess thats where EKB got these other suppliers beat. They provide warranty.

Hmmm. The tenkeyless versions of the filco brown and blue do not have chinese text on the keycaps am I correct? Or is that just a different picture. Cause 117 CAD + 20 dollar shipping is pretty good compared to the 130+30 shipping from EK. Risky but worth it if it works.

Was the Custom Form filled with the actual cost of purchased or did they do a mark-down ?
I believe if they wish to be competitive, they can easily keep the shipping cost as present, the product is probably slightly marked-up with this intent, as the cost of product on Taobao is slightly cheaper.

edit: a friend of mine mentioned that if we need to pay for the duties, the custom will hold it until we pay, so... I guess they charged me $0 for the duty. Hopefully the keyboard arrives before the Thanksgiving break, it would suck if USPS decide to take a break during the holiday ^_^

With the PCHome, I couldn't even register, as I couldn't get past the security check in typing in the numeric equivalent to the Chinese symbols. I matched the symbols to their correct numbers, but it was still a no-go.

Just been reading some reviews on the dk1087 that there has been some issues. Figured they would drop an updated version (or new color!) in the coming year. I wouldn't mind an all white ducky.
I don't think they'll release a 'new' model to fix a minor production issue. The ducky 1087 is already new and just came out.

I ordered a Flico Tenkeyless with brown switches early yesterday morning. I used paypal and the receipt came through immediately. However I haven't received any emails from pcHome themselves yet. Did they track the status of your order by email?
They will send you your order confirmation email. Then you just log into the site and check out the shipping details which will contain a usps tracking number ending in "TW".

I just got my Ducky 1087. That was fast. I ordered it on Friday, and I received it here in San Francisco Bay Area today (Wednesday.)
First impressions: I'm kinda disappointed. I already have a Filco with blue switches, and I'm not really digging the Browns on this Ducky. The build quality on the Filcos is also noticeably better. I don't know how to explain it. I know they are both made by the same manufacturer, but the Filcos don't feel like they were made in Taiwan, while the Ducky definitely feels like a "Made in China" keyboard, if that makes any sense. The different feel of the Browns is probably the main reason. Noise is not an issue, so I think I'll stick with my Blues.
I'll prob put the Ducky up for sale on eBay for what I paid for it. Or give it to someone as a gift for Christmas.

I'll have a ducky brown in my hands in the next few days and I'll compare it to my filco super blue otaku type R. From what I hear the duckys in the past were superior in every way (except maybe the chingrish).
Must have been reading wrong reviews. Build quality is definitely worse and you can tell that already by just looking at the pictures. The one WhiteRice got literally fell apart after two days.

My Unicomp package by Fedex tried to enter Canada (Mississauga sorting facility) 4 times before it was successful, each time being sent back to the Fedex sorting facility in Louisville Kentucky because customs was backed up. I can only imagine how much airliner gas was burned to move that package around.

yah americans really only know how to send packages to themselves. I just get all my packages sent to a place nearby the border and then make a trip to get my junk! Save some bloated shipping costs which covers the fuel costs and then some. Plus some of our amerifriends won't even ship to canada, usually because we're too far away.

Just ordered a Filco Tenkeyless with Blues. I think (Green axis). Kind of excited to get it since I've found my Rosewill does not fit in my messenger bag but a Tenkeyless should be perfect.

Correction on my ducky. They did include the extra keycaps, they were just wedged in that little compartment and for some reason, i didn't see them. Hoorah!
I just received my Ducky DK-9008 with black on black keys (english), Cherry MX brown, from PCHome today.
Ordered it last week, arrived within 7 days to New Zealand and reasonably well packaged. Pretty stoked actually!
Keyboard is reasonably nice - quality of the mini-USB cable is a bit lower than what I would have expected but the actual board feels nice and solid, and the keys themselves have a good action and work nicely.
I'm now considering ordering a Filco from them with MX blues to compare... the browns are a bit noisier than I'd expected, mainly because I can't seem to stop bottoming out the keys.
I will also say that the black switches used on the spacebar and enter key are proving a little annoying - I've mainly got used to them now, but I did miss spaces or accidentally doublespace for a wee while the first few hours I used it (and occasionally still, but improving).
I'm not so sure I would have such a good experience had I had to deal with their customer service team, but luckily I have a few Taiwanese friends just in case :)

My Ducky 1087 and a Ducky wrist wrest just arrived to Finland 38 minutes ago. So it took 3 business days to get the package from Taiwan to Finland (ordered on 26. just before going to sleep). That is amazingly fast. Now I'm waiting for customs to either let the package go or let me know how much tax I need to pay before I get the package.
Anyway, I'm very pleased with PChome.

Those are surprisingly thick PBT keys for such a low-priced keyboard. I really hope ducky isn't one of those "too good to be true" deals.
*face palm* you called a $130 keyboard low-priced? A well-built mechanical keyboard should cost less than $100. You can't just presume the quality of a keyboard based on the price. Filco (good example of overpriced keyboard in North America) is never that expensive in East Asia and it is ridiculous to buy a well-built keyboard with ABS keycaps for $160++.

Red one doesn't look too bad. Think an all white filco/ducky would make it match!It's firm. It doesn't slide around when I have my wrists on it. Does it's job.

Obviously they dont actually handle the shipping of the items. But they did choose the vendor who is handling it. EMS I believe? Either way, I am surprised at how quickly they processed the order and got it sent out. Also just thought it was funny how something from Taiwan is able to get here before a domestic package that had a 3 day head start... just say'nEMS is global air mail, you can send EMS at your USPS, Deutschepost, etc.

My Ducky and Das keys are surely the same profile and they both have them little stripes in the bottom of the keys. I haven't checked the large keys with stabilizers yet, but I will once I get a proper key puller.

lol was trying to figure out why i feel their cherry mx brown regular 2~3g more force then my DAS kb. it just feel very crispy to type on ducky brown compare to das kb.
i tot maybe the mix switches cause me the problem, so this time i order the full brown mx switch to try out, it still feel very crispy compare to das cherry mx brown, when typing on it.

I got the invoice from Paypal saying the money was sent, and another email that gave me my order number, but no invoice or information on what I bought. Is this normal? Same thing happened to me and I finally gave up. Maybe I'll try again sometime later. I'm not sure why everyone else except you and I seem to get normal numerals. Two possibilities I can think of though:
1) I'm located in Asia, so perhaps they default the Chinese characters to IP addresses coming from Asia.
2) My OS (Windows 7, 64-bit) is not an English version, though I've set English as the primary language on it. Furthermore, I've loaded/enabled all the East Asian languages (Japanese, Chinese, Korean).
I do have a computer with full-English Windows XP, and no East Asian languages enabled, so I might try that, but it isn't connected to the internet and doing so might be a bit of a hassle. If you're able to track down what's causing this, please post the result, and likewise I will if I can figure it out.
Question on the Blue Filco - Is the whole body blue or just the front? Curious because if the back is also Blue, I might just buy one.

That's the only email I got from PChome. You can check your order from the PChome website from your account management page (or something like that). There you can see a history of all your orders and see exactly what your order has in the package, including those free extra awesome glowing USB hub mousemats.

from the description it looks like the more expensive one has laser-etched keycaps(and standard US layout with a small Enter as you mentioned), I think you should go with this.

For shipping time, just read the pages in front, probably 7days for North America. It takes about a day for the paypal payment to clear on their side, and then another until the tracking number that they give can be tracked by Taiwanese EMS

I got tempted to order 1087 mx brown ducky.
But I'm starting to get a little worried.
I've ordered it on the last tuesday, paypal payment went right away but I got the following status ever since:

What's going on? It's been 6 days or almost 4 work days if you will.
EDIT:
there is a message in the "problem query" thingy that says they have to verify the credit card transaction and such and they forgive for the delay (though I didn't use the card just my paypal account that i had money on), and I'm not really sure if the message is related to the current status or it's an old thing.
Is there a simple $75ish ducky board with reds available?

Has anyone bought from these guys in the UK? Just wondering how long it took because it's been a week for me so far and its a bit disconcerting when you've ordered from somewhere you don't remotely understand.

Just wondering though, has anyone ever ordered a keyboard and had it delivered to the UK? I'm guessing I'll have to pay customs because of the cost and origin- any idea on how much that would be?

Hey guys im trying to order myself a ducky from PC HOME but when i go to check out in the credit card section its asking me for some ID numbers that i have no idea what they are! I filled out the whole top part name adress etc...gave my credit card information but its asking for these numbers so if someone knows what im talking about and can help me out id appreciate it much! thanks in advance guys

I doubt it will have the multimedia functions. Older model - the Chinese sites tend to screw up the product pics a lot.
