better get out that calc ...

you have it as 31 because you used mm/dd/yy = 01/11/11 (and you dropped the zero because, well, it's zero, AND you have no places after it.)

dd/mm/yy however is 11/01/11 = 55

011111 little endian is 62
011111 big endian is 31

0x20110111 could be hex
