Shipping costs at least 40 dollars from Korea, and using a broker like buyfromkorea.com charges you another 40-60 for using their services to just buy a keyboard (I've asked personally). All in all you'll be spending at least 200 dollars for sure if you want to get a Leopold straight from Korea.

From left to right:
Non-clicky (넌클릭(갈축) 한글),
Linear (리니어(흑축) 한글),
Clicky (클릭(청축) 한글),
and Reds 레드(적축) 영문.
I believe they all have korean inscriptions on them, minus the reds (which are english only). 125,000 WON comes out to approximately $125 when converted.

Korean women are crazy!

Which nationality aren't?

Korean women are crazy!
I keep telling my wife that... LoL
I want the pink WASD. Gonna have to text my BiL before he leaves Korea for Dubai.
-
That'll do. It's not like I want his body.
I actually have family that lives in Korea. I ask them to buy me keyboards, but they ask me why I want expensive keyboard.
I could elaborate more, but I am tired

I think the FC500R = Red?
-
Yup, FC500R is the reds. The FC400R series is 108 keys with Japanese layout and the first release will be FC400RR/JB with red switches (link (http://leopold.co.jp/product/fc400r/)).

What's the difference between the FC300 and FC500?
Its 200.
I'd insta buy it if it wasn't for the fugly logo. The older model looks better on those photos.
-
you ask for translation of fc300 and fc500 but post pictures of fc200?

Yeah, I know, right. We're getting screwed over here when it comes to keyboard or anything else for that matter. lol

It seems they have an English page up for it now.

Anyone have any word on when this is coming out?
-
It worked didn't it?
To answer my own question it looks to me like the differences between the FC200 and FC500 series are:
- English vs Korean (Hangul) printed keys
- Lasered vs pad printed keys
- Cherry Corp stabilizers vs Filco style
- Different styling
theres the BIG leopold compared to that stuck on red thing
one has those key leds and the other on the top right
-
yea the 400/500 is the one that is more like a filco/rosewill whatever with the top right indicator leds for caps, number and scroll lock
the 200 is the one that is more like a ducky with the led on the actual buttons and that clear piece of plastic or w/e
thats the main thing i see

Very nice...I like how smooth they look compared to the other keycaps. I'd definitely rock the pink keycaps.
Also, they seem to get better **** because a greater proportion of their population know about or care about mech keyboards/other tech.

200 series = costar, other = datacomp

In the early days Loepold disguised itself as a Filco Majestouch. That was big hit. Three reasons for that success. Stupid consumers do not know A from B. And strange behaviors of Filco. Average quality of all Taiwanese goods is not bad. Nowdays, Leopold tries to act as a Cherry corp or something like big board manufacturer. That is a pity. Because all they do is placing OEM order and distributing it. Own design ? .. you are very funny.
EDIT
Dirty sales tactics as always. FC300R has Brown/Blue/Black stems from now on. FC500R ? Could be...

Google translate link for the lulz (http://translate.google.com/translate?js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&layout=2&eotf=1&sl=auto&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.leopold.co.kr%2F%3Fdoc%3Dcart%2Flist.php%26ca_id%3D101010&act=url). Don't expect much since it can't handle Jpeg translation. I once ran it through Google Doc OCR and back out through Google Translate and the results were NOT PRETTY!
So..... who has a Korean GF? I know KL doesn't except in his dreams.
I don't have a Korean GF, but I have a GF who is studying abroad in Korea, does this count? I'm pretty sure the main difference between the 300 and 500 series are just the English vs. Hangul keys. As far as I can tell 300 is Korean, 400 is Japanese, and 500 is English. The R after doesn't make sense to mean red, because the 300R series has Blue, Brown and Black switches. Also, the 500R with Red Switches has the model number 500RR/EB. I would imagine the second R stands for red.
Here is a link to Leopold's English website, no Google Translate required:

i have korean bf
wait, you're a GIRL?
-
There you go again.....jumping to assumptions!
lulz i do what i do best which is make an ass out of u and me!
-
Whats your input on Leopolds ripster? You recommend em vs Filcos? thinking price/quality wise
-
I still can't decide. I know Filco is good but I haven't tried Leopold. And Leopold has the extra stuff I want: otaku, detachable cord, and cheaper. I might have to get 2 tenkeyless boards. Brown Leopold & red Filco. Man... :frown: Look for my tt Meka G1 in the classified section 'cause I'm gonna have to put it up for sale.
-
I asked bambi how much would it be to ship to the US, it's about 14380 JPY which is like $176.20 for a FC500R Fullsize Leopold.

I hope the full size Leopolds work with OSX and Linux once they are available
at Elitekeyboards.
